Scenes From 19th Century Joseon

Rebel9 developed an online exhibition for 𝘚𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘮 19𝘵𝘩 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘺 𝘑𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘰𝘯 at Ewha Womans University Museum.

The special exhibition, 𝘚𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘮 19𝘵𝘩 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘺 𝘑𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘰𝘯, offers a chance to see precious relics that hold colorful landscapes even during the confusion of the late Joseon Dynasty. The first person to enter an online exhibition is to indirectly experience the actual view of the exhibition hall through a 360-degree panoramic image and read the story of the artifact.

The change in the viewing environment caused by Corona 19 is deepening concerns about online exhibitions and digital use of museums. Nevertheless, online exhibitions also remain unchanged from the museum’s collection. And the possibility of online exhibitions is not simply to implement panoramic photography on the Web.

The special exhibition 𝘚𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘮 19𝘵𝘩 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘺 𝘑𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘰𝘯 allows visitors to record their own landscapes and share them on social media through digital telescopes. Visitors search for artifacts with digital telescopes and record them with emotions along with certain parts of their attention. In addition, visitors can enjoy the view of relics from various perspectives while visiting the exhibition hall. In addition to the narrated stories of artifacts provided by the curator, we hope that this online exhibition will provide you with the opportunity to look at them from your personal experience.
